spammers
The current trend, in-case the admin haven't noticed, is that they'll have this as their website on their profile:
http://mp3skyline.in
Is there a program you can run to delete new users with that as their website on their profile?
I'm presuming that the admin have just deleted the spam and not looked at the profile page (because that's what I think I'd do).
Oh and yes, the latest user does appear to have that as their website page.
I bet it's all Chantel, waiting until someone else says that one of them looks like one of the gladiators!

1. I didn't know if it was just James or not off the top of my head/or where to look to check that out, I'll try to remember that in the future.William wrote:1. it's not "the admin", it's James.

Don't worry, I'm used to misspellings of my name! An E instead of an A is the most common, though I've had all sorts of odd spellings. This morning heralded a new one though - in a work e-mail someone managed to combine my first name and surname together and called me 'Chatton'. Er, yeah.String Bean Jean wrote:2. Oh, fuck

I've mis-spelt things worse before...
...although I once spelt my name "Thom" by accident, I liked that idea thought...

It's also posted in the "Ooberman" and not "Off Topic" bit.
No-one noticed. I didn't either. *Suika stays quiet*

The interview:
Suika: I think it's important for our band, any band, to have a message.
Interviewer: So, what is your message? What is the message of your band?
Suika: ...don't run with scissors?

and the Beanster posted his Ooberman-related topic in the "Off-topic" section! craziness!
honey pie, i don't know when it started, just stop buying your albums from the supermarket. They only sell records that have charted.

I thought it would be better to post it there than where it's been moved to, but figured if they wanted it moving, it hopefully won't be hard.Suika wrote:It's also posted in the "Ooberman" and not "Off Topic" bit.

I guess it depends on what you count as off topic.

I thought it'd look more relaxed if it was in the "off topic" place.William wrote:and the Beanster posted his Ooberman-related topic in the "Off-topic" section! craziness!
That or I want to try to confuse everyone

Ah, that new one that says 'please do bot read this topic' just amused me. At the bottom it says 'admin if you read this, please do not delete it or move it to flood or offtopic. thanks.'
I'm not sure if it's funnier that they think the title of it will stop someone reading it in the first place, or that they think someone will leave spam on the forum just because they asked nicely!
Plus it's already in 'off-topic', so what's that request all about?

I think it was moved into off topic, and we're meant to talk about it!Chantal wrote:Ah, that new one that says 'please do bot read this topic' just amused me. At the bottom it says 'admin if you read this, please do not delete it or move it to flood or offtopic. thanks.'
