Turnips
Who's actually eaten a real life turnip? I clearly mean, you have clarified before eating, that the object that you are about to eat, is actually a turnip.
And then you have eaten it. Fully.
What do they taste like?

I kept it open in a word pad just in case...Sean wrote:Incredible, you should have posted it anyway, it could have taken the thread in a whole new direction, that would have been quite wacko!

ah, well, imagine a carrot, but no, it's not a carrot, it's white, now imagine a potato, but no, it's not a potato its a turnip, because it's erm, carrot shaped.
what could this be, you ask yourself, how can this be, "it is neither carrot, nor potato, what dark magic could this be?"
You stare in awe at it's magnificence, you roast it, you place it in your mouth...
...it's a kind of, potatoey texture, interesting, but it has a sweet taste to it, not carrot like at all, like maybe, a sugary potato, but at the same time, tasty.
That, That is a turnip

...whoops
it was when I was trying to make a random bibliography (you'll note it's missing) that I realised it was indeed, the wrong vegetable!

I'm not actually sure whether I've eaten turnip or not. I remember it being mentioned as a food-stuff when I was younger, though I used to get it confused with swede. I think I might have eaten it - I have vague memories of eating cubes of turnip mixed in with cubes of swede - turnip being white and swede being orange, so I'm not sure why I used to get them mixed up. I can't remember what it tasted like though.
Mostly when I think of turnips I think of childrens stories. Wasn't there one about a turnip that just kept growing?

The interview:
Suika: I think it's important for our band, any band, to have a message.
Interviewer: So, what is your message? What is the message of your band?
Suika: ...don't run with scissors?
